Wonderful to meet you! My name is Kyara, and I’ve worked with hundreds of clients to reach and sustain their optimal mental health routine in a wide variety of recovery experiences.
What is a personalized recovery routine…and how can therapy help?
Therapy can mean lots of different things for each person: from feeling safe talking about events or emotions you have not shared before; exploring your identity and personal timeline; strengthening your spirituality; or setting goals and taking steps toward their achievement…Recovery also comes in several shapes and sizes, and in response to a variety of life events such as dysfunctional family dynamics, substance use, infidelity, spiritual confusion, workplace stressors, existential dread, and many others.
Whatever it may mean for you, our process will start where you are, and work toward combining reflective self-knowledge with committed action to establish and integrate a recovery routine that supports your mind, body, and spiritual health for years to come.
As we work together, you’ll learn about core beliefs and patterns that are healthy—and some that aren’t so supportive—and how to retrain your brain’s motivation center to solidify a routine that is adaptable through your phases of life. Our goal will be self-efficacy, the power of knowing you can work through anything that life brings to you.
What’s truly fantastic is that this is just the beginning! Diving into self-reflection and inner work can lead to optimal wellness in all areas of your life, despite not being able to control the world around us.
Please schedule a 15-minute free consultation using the Contact Me feature below and let’s explore what your needs are. If we believe we are not a good fit, I will still offer referrals for someone who may be more aligned to your process.

-
Emotional Regulation
Kyara’s approach has been so helpful for me. With her support I have become more aware of my emotions and have developed healthy strategies to manage my anxiety. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their ability to self-regulate.

Learning as a Married Couple
Kyara has an intangible quality that put us, a married couple, at ease, immediately. It is hard to find a therapist that connects with you so effortlessly but she does it. She feels more like an old friend who listens and doesn’t judge. She has given us both a number of “ah-ha” moments with her insights. Her delivery is impeccable because she can cut through it without eliciting a defensive reaction from you while getting you to think differently. She’s really remarkable and you can tell she cares and connects with her patients, which to us is important. No one wants to just a be a number. We are seeking help and guidance and she provides it time after time.

Welcoming the Hard Work
My experience with Kyara has been nothing short of amazing. What I truly appreciate about her is how she challenges me in a kind and supportive manner. Being challenged in therapy is essential, as it allows me to grow and uncover who I am by pushing myself in healthy ways. Kyara's warmth and positive energy make every session welcoming, and her personality shines through in everything she does. I always feel comfortable with her, and her patience is remarkable. She’s been integral to my journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for her guidance.

Recovery Maintenance
I’ve been with Kyara for about 4 years. When I started therapy with her, I was in the lowest place in my life. She was instrumental in my recovery and mental health. I continue to see her so that I can maintain my sobriety and mental wellness. Kyara is amazing and I would definitely recommend to friends, family, and whomever needs help for their mental health.

Flourishing in a Safe Space
I am incredibly grateful to Kyara for the support and guidance she provided me throughout my journey to overcome my crystal meth addiction and my alcoholism. From the beginning, she created a safe, non-judgmental space where I felt comfortable discussing all aspects of my life – including my struggles being gay. Her knowledge of addiction, and her understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, made me feel confident that I was getting the right support. Together we dug into the underlying trauma and emotions that had fueled my addiction and dealt with setbacks and relapses during the process. We worked through those challenges and developed healthier coping mechanisms and rebuilt my life step by step. I’m now two years sober and much happier!
